After long months of complex negotiation at the table, Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua have successfully come to a two-fight contract agreement. Dubbed as the biggest fight in boxing history, the Fury vs Joshua blockbuster promises to become a monumental, undisputed world heavyweight title fight – with a staggering purse that could easily exceed $75 million per fighter.
No official date has been announced for the Fury vs Joshua fight. Although the contract for the two-fight Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury showdown was signed on 15 March, options for a definitive date are still being explored.
What we can tell you is that both parties seem to prefer the fight to take place sometime this summer, with Anthony Joshua’s camp recently implying that event organisers are looking to stage the match sometime between July and August.

The smart money, however, continues to be on the Middle East, with promoter Eddie Hearn stating that Saudi Arabia is “absolutely keen” to secure Joshua vs Fury – “We had a great experience there back in December 2019, with Anthony Joshua against Andy Ruiz, so they are players that we know are for real. We’ve been through the process with them. They gave us their word on what they would deliver, and they did that. It was a fantastic event.”
